Otra Vez Cantina: A Vibrant Mexican Bar Experience in Denver

We have eaten at Otra Vez Cantina on three occasions. Once within the restaurant and twice, we took food out. All of our experiences have been great. We really enjoy the food and the overall atmosphere of this restaurant. If you're staying in Denver and looking for solid Mexican food, Otra Vez Cantina is your spot!

Steven was an excellent and extremely knowledgeable server. Every single question we had about food(which was a lot) was answered in complete detail and more. I was actually quite shocked about how much one can know about every single dish. This speaks volumes about the restaurant itself and their staff. The food itself was awesome. I highly recommend the Baja fish taco, cooked to perfection. My only regret is not getting more tacos. The drinks were also great as we tried this delicious holiday drink, which I understand is all made from scratch.

Excellent salsa, good burritos, tasty margaritas what more can you ask for? Salsa is excellent. Good texture/flavor and the chips are sturdy but still fresh and crispy. Queso was great as well. Good creamy texture and it had some meat to it. The Al Pastor Grilled burrito is excellent, plenty of meat and a good ratio of filling. Not too dry on the inside and the sauces are fantastic. Be sure to ask for extra poblano cream sauce, it’s good on chips too if you have extra somehow. Got to try a margarita and it was very tasty, no one was willing to share their tacos so I guess they were good too. Overall pleased, we will come back.

Our first night in Denver, trying to find good Mexican food for my husband's 40th birthday. We honestly just picked this place because of the name. I got a little lost, did not realize it was part of an outdoor mall but the guy who answered the phone was really helpful and nice in telling me where they were. We got there and they were very accommodating. Fajitas were delicious and the shots were decent size Very cool atmosphere, I loved everything. Well definitely make this a must stop for our next trip to Denver.

Food and service were very good. Eileen our server was attentive and made sure we had chips and drinks throughout our meal. All of the dishes were flavorful. The place has a nice ambiance in the front. Unfortunately we got seated in the backroom, although it had a large screen showing a basketball game.

Our server Stephen was a sweetheart! Super attentive and friendly. We had the street tacos and they were really good. The tacos are made with corn tortillas. As a flour tortilla fan, these were actually really good and the best part is that they didn't immediately break apart! If you're into chicken tacos I highly recommend the Chile lime taco! The restaurant plays really good modern music and helps with the vibe. Really good play to go with friends.

Great authentic Mexican food! Don't sleep on the salsa, one of the best I've had! Be prepared to eat, portions are huge! Queso with chorizo had just enough spice. Had the watermelon rita and the sangria rojo, I'd recommend either as they were both on point. Not a single complaint! Also brunch till 2p on weekends was a very pleasant surprise! I will say the way they serve their water makes you feel a little powerful. As I never drink out of those glasses, but talking with one in my hand I felt influential!

Otra Vez Cantina offered excellent food and drinks. The service was decent. It did take some time for my party to get our check. I definitely give warning for others to bring cash ahead of time or go on less busy times The food was delicious . The chips were really fresh and tasty. The pulled pork in food was very flavorable. I ended up putting them on fries as fun food. The fries had a lot of spice to them. I got a strawberry frozen margarita. It was probably my favorite thing if night. I overall enjoyed my time with food and drink.
